Our basic guardiennage rates include the following services

  • Boat washed externally every 15 days - guaranteed! This includes: Bilges cleaned, All bright work polished, Seacocks and stern glands checked, Dinghy and jet ribs washed and checked over for damage or wear, Air-conditioning run up and pumps checked, Electrical systems switched on and tested, i.e. anchor winches, horns, etc.
  • Batteries checked once a month and put on charge at regular intervals
  • Engine and generator oil and water levels checked monthly
  • Mooring lines and fenders monitored constantly, especially following bad weather
  • Cockpit, flybridge and sun cushions cleaned as necessary
  • A monthly interior maintenance clean*
  • Prior to Your arrival we will check the following are functional: Passerelles, Air-conditioning, Toilets, Fridges, Anchor winches.

    All labour and spare parts to rectify faults to the abovementioned equipment are billed separately and directly to the Boat Owner. No work will be undertaken without the agreement of the Owner. Once approval has been given we will undertake all aspects of the maintenance and servicing of your boat, organising engine and generator servicing, boat lifting, anti fouling, polishing, teak deck maintenance and much more. We can also supply a skipper service.

    All lubricants and coolants used will be charged separately. All products used on your boat are professional marine products.

    During the Owners stay on their boat, the onus is on them to ensure the safekeeping and security of their boat and possessions.

    You will be kept informed of the status of your boat at all times and reminded of essential service agendas. A log will be kept of all works and guardenniage under taken; this information is accessible to you at all times.

    Interior cleaning
    Interior cleaning is undertaken on request and charged separately by the hour, this includes: Thorough cleaning of galley, emptying fridges, refuse removed, Toilets and showers cleaned, Beds made up or stripped and covers replaced, All crystal and mirrors cleaned, Carpets and floors cleaned and hovered, Complete dusting and wood polished.

    *Although the interior will be kept clean with guardienage service it is necessary to have the boat prepared for your visit and thoroughly cleaned afterwards, charges apply. We ask that you give us a minimum of 10 days notice of your arrival, this ensures that all works are completed and your boat is sparkling and ready for your enjoyment. Laundry We will have the laundry professionally cleaned and returned to the boat. Please note that AMS will not be held liable for any losses, although we assure you that every care is taken in ensuring their safekeeping.

    In addition to the above we would also like to offer you the following services:

  • Provisioning, simply e-mail your requirements and your order will be waiting you on arrival, we will do the hard work! We can provision for specialist dietary needs, organic produce, gourmet foods, wines, spirits and beers. We can fully stock your galley for a weeks cruising or a simple pint of milk for that first cup of tea!
  • Restaurant reservations and taxi bookings
  • For those of you with homes here we are also able to offer a full property management service, including pool maintenance and gardening
  • You can call upon our local knowledge and we will keep you informed of happenings, fiestas, exhibitions and seasonal specialities.
